Mission: BUST Outdoors seeks to decolonize the outdoors by creating a safe space for all to reconnect to nature and access all of the healing properties it has to offer. 

Vision: To reclaim our connection to nature, foster a sense of belonging and breakdown stereotypes that have historically excluded certain groups from enjoying the serenity and healing force of nature!

I collaborate with people of all backgrounds, focusing on supporting the BIPOC community in their connection to nature. It's essential to create inclusive and safe environments for marginalized communities, as historical and current outdoor spaces have often been unwelcoming to BIPOC individuals. Through BUST Outdoors, I strive to make BIPOC individuals feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to participate in outdoor activities, fostering a sense of belonging and addressing systemic barriers that have limited their access to and enjoyment of nature. This initiative also contributes to the healing of ancestral trauma and promotes equity and justice in the outdoor community. Decolonizing outdoor spaces can have a significant impact on the well-being of BIPOC individuals. By offering opportunities to reconnect with the land and heritage, BUST Outdoor's mission aims to address historical trauma, strengthen cultural identity, and instill a deep appreciation for the natural world.
